O bildirib ki, İran və Rusiyadan ciddi təzyiq olacağı qaçılmazdır:
“Artıq bununla bağlı bəyanatlar da səsləndirilir. Amma düşünürəm ki, hər nə qədər təzyiqlər olsa belə, bu məsələdə açıq mövqe var, üçtərəfli anlaşma var və bu anlaşmaya uyğun olaraq Ermənistan öz konstitusiyasında dəyişikliyə gedəcək.
Əslində Paşinyan da bunun tərəfdarıdır, lakin ölkə daxilində meydana çıxa biləcək təzyiqlər var, bu təzyiqləri aradan qaldırmalıdır. Bu təzyiqləri aradan qaldıra biləcəksə, sülh müqaviləsi də tez bir zamanda imzalana bilər. Mən hesab etmirəm ki, ABŞ-yə o cür hörmətsizlik edə bilər. Çünki ABŞ Ermənistana bunu bağışlamaya bilər”.
