“Bu səfər əlaqələrimizin yenidən qurulmasına dəstək ola bilər”
Politoloq Samir Hümbətov qeyd edib ki, Suriya prezidenti Əhməd Əş-Şaranın Azərbaycana səfəri Ərəb baharından sonra pozulmuş Suriya-Azərbaycan əlaqələrinin yenidən qurulmasına dəstək ola bilər: “Əlbəttə, prezidentlər bundan öncə Antalya Diplomatik Forumunda da görüşüblər. Orada da fikir mübadiləsi aparıldı və demək olar ki, 2024-cü ilin dekabrın 9-na qədər, yəni 2010-cu ildən 2024-ə qədər on dörd il müddətdə Azərbaycan-Suriya əlaqələrində çox ciddi problemlər yaşanırdı. Bu, Əsəd ailəsinin həyata keçirdiyi siyasətin nəticəsi idi. Bəşər Əsəd hökuməti Azərbaycanla münasibətləri Ermənistanla münasibətlərə dəyişdi. Yəni ölkələr arasında çox ciddi bir kriz yaşandı. Suriyanın Türkiyə və Azərbaycanla münasibətləri pozuldu”.
Böyük inkişaf strategiyası
S.Hümbətov bildirib ki, Azərbaycanla Suriya münasibətlərinin inkişaf etdirilməsi, xüsusən də nəzərə alsaq ki, Əş-Şaraanın Suriyaya qayıtdıqdan sonra Azərbaycan Prezidentinə məktub ünvanlaması və bu məsələdə Azərbaycanla dostluğuna olan münasibətini ifadə etməsi, əminlik etməsi onu deməyə əsas verir ki, deməli, əlaqələrin inkişafında Suriyanın mövcud hökuməti də maraqlıdır və Azərbaycanda bu işdə maraqlıdır: “Düşünürəm ki, bundan sonrakı əlaqələrimiz böyük bir inkişaf strategiyasının tərkib hissəsidir. Bu münasibətlər Yaxın Şərq, Cənubi Qafqaz, ümumilikdə Avrasiyanın taleyinə ciddi təsir göstərə bilər”.
